Music at Giles Brook
In conjunction with the Milton Keynes Music Service we are able to offer our children the chance to learn several different kinds of musical instruments. There is a fee (subsidised by the school) for the lessons which are taught in small groups. Rachel Roberts is the curriculum leader for music and he organises the lessons and out of school activities for children.
Choir
Every child in key stage 2 has the option of joining the school choir. Fiona runs the club and practice takes place every Thursday lunchtime. To be in the choir you must attend all practice sessions. There are several opportunities in the year to sing in front of the whole school or represent the school in the local community or at music festivals.
